The Outlast Trials is a first-person psychological survival horror game developed and published by Red Barrels. Set during the Cold War, it follows test subjects recruited by the Murkoff Corporation for experiments involving brainwashing, mind control, and psychological conditioning. Players survive disturbing environments, avoid hostile enemies, and complete story-driven Trials and shorter MK-Challenges alone or in online co-op with up to four players.
